Starting with the AMB, Müller offers the broadest, most flexible and state-of-the-art performance package for long- and short-turning machines on the European market with the machine concepts combistream CSBasic, CS2, CS3 and CS4. It is certainly possible for every customer to adapt the product to his individual machining processes. In principle, you can select and combine from a standard solution to a very specific requirement on the chip management, but also the combination with or without high pressure. This is possible due to the constructive change of the machine tanks as a base tank, which then allows the construction of different chip conveyor technologies, but also the combination with different high-pressure technologies. It is the choice of the customer whether he chooses to use high-pressure filtration in accordance with the expected degree of machine pollution on exchangable or automatic filters and for which chip conveyor system he ultimately decides.
In basic concept 1 (BK1), the medium runs directly from the workspace solution of the machine into a chip collector and from there into the machine tank. In the case of a high fine chip load, the machine tank quickly gets dirty.
This can be prevented by the basic concept 2 (BK2) by pre-filtering the medium over a slotted screen of 500 μm (option: 300 μm). The contamination of the machine tank is greatly slowed down. The slotted screen is cleaned on the one hand by means of a scraper conveyor, fine chips are, on the other hand, automatically discharged.
The basic concept 3 (BK3) is the combination of a workspace solution with a base cleaner of the tank. This technology is then usually supplemented with a full-flow filtration variant of the cooling lubricant on the machine. This ensures the highest possible purity in the inside and in the tank area of the machine. In addition, all pump systems suck out of the clean liquid tank.
“It is obvious: With combistream, all customers using long- and short-turning machines will benefit from the combination of chip conveyors and chip management as well as high and low pressure, including an increased coolant tank in an integrated unit and on the other hand from improved processes and performance as well as compactness and tidiness. Everything is simply about the efficiency of our customers”, says Managing Director Martin Müller, summarizing Müller’ claim.
Further information about the new combistream possibilities can be obtained at the AMB Stuttgart in Hall 6 on stand 77. You will also find especially space-saving, efficiency-enhancing innovations from the combiloop product range – the compact coolant lubricant high-pressure unit from Müller.
