combistream chip conveyors with high pressure and full-flow filtration are an integrated assembly for machine tools that combines a full-flow high-pressure system, a chip conveyor, fine filter, machine tank or, for structural reasons, an additional tank and a clean tank into a complete unit and enables maximum automation in chip management and uninterrupted machining in wet cutting under maximum pressure and high coolant availability.

combistream chip conveyors with high pressure and full-flow filtration combine various technologies for coolant management, chip management and the provision of high pressure for the tools on the machine tool. Thanks to the full-flow high-pressure system, they filter the cooling lubricant (CL) from both the high-pressure system and the overflow cooling of the machine tool and feed cleaned CL into the machine tool, internally cooled tools and the bone hoses. They offer high flushing performance at medium to high pressures and hold a large quantity of cleaned cooling lubricant in an integrated clean tank to optimally fulfil the coolant requirements of the machine tool's high, medium and low pressure system. At the same time, the chip conveyor continuously transports the chips separated from the coolant from the working area of the machine tool into the collection container during the machining process.

The idea of maximising space utilisation around the machine tool is always at the forefront of the development of combistream systems. Here, form follows function, but always taking into account the optimum and sensible utilisation of space. Each model type is always customised to a specific machine tool model. In contrast to standard infeed chip conveyors, the degree of standardisation for combistream systems is always limited. The balance between form, function and customer benefits is paramount. However, issues such as manoeuvrability, transportability and accessibility must also be taken into account in the design right from the start. That is why we have committed ourselves to a standard definition that allows us to combine three basic variants with three available chip conveyor concepts and three different high-pressure expansion stages. Each combistream model always takes into account the optimum coolant supply for the machine tool.

In contrast to the high-pressure chip conveyor, this expansion stage offers even greater automation in chip management and ensures uninterrupted machining at high pressure and optimum coolant availability.
While conventional high-pressure chip conveyors direct the cooling lubricant into the machine tool and internally cooled tools at high pressures of up to 300 bar, full-flow filtration enables more efficient cleaning of the cooling lubricant, including the machine tool's high-pressure and flood cooling system. This minimises contamination and ensures consistent coolant quality.
