Technical description
The combistream is a system consisting of a tank, chip conveyor and integrated technical unit for high-pressure and off-line filtration. Please refer to the enclosed drawing for the appearance and exact design. The tank replaces the original machine tank and is pushed under the machine tool. The high-pressure system uses a clean tank mounted on the system. The high-pressure pump, designed with eco+ control technology, ensures that the temperature input remains as low as possible by mechanically adapting the delivery rate to the working requirements of the tools. The working pressure is infinitely adjustable by means of a manual regulator (optionally automatically via the machine programme). The low-pressure pump draws from the machine tank. The cooling lubricant is channelled directly to the consumers in the machine via a direct or switchable high-pressure outlet. The chip conveyor cassette seals with the machine interior so that as many chips as possible fall directly onto the conveyor belt. The work area conveyor is designed as a hinged belt. The contaminated medium flows out of the work area conveyor together with the residual chips through a retention screen basket with a high machine density into the tank. The screen basket must be emptied manually. The frequency depends on the degree of soiling of the machine. The chips remaining on the hinged belt are discharged automatically. Chip guide plates in the tank are designed to prevent too many fine residual chips from entering the suction area of the pumps. A filter feed pump draws cooling lubricant from the machine tank and feeds it into the clean tank via a self-cleaning automatic filter. The automatic filter also cleans the machine tank during off-peak times. The filter is cleaned directly on the working chamber conveyor. Using the predefined pressure levels option, specific pressures adapted to the machining process can be called up via the machine programme. A separate low-pressure pump was installed on the system's clean tank to flush the pick-up spindle. This makes it possible to flush the pick-up spindle with clean medium at low pressure. The system is equipped with an electrical control system, which enables self-sufficient operation. A 46-pin Harting connector (star XS950-III) forms the interface to the machine. Power is supplied via a separate 6-pin Harting plug (20A). Electrical connection: 400V 3~/PE 50Hz.
